Ernesto Michahelles, known as Thayaht, and Ruggero Alfredo Michahelles, known as RAM or Micaelles, were eclectic artists, famous especially in Italy and in France between the 1920's and 1930's. The two brothers were born in Florence from a cosmopolitan and intellectual family.

They were among the most important artists of the Second period of Italian Futurism, but their fame was mainly due to their unconventional futurist ideas, expressed through an innovative life style.

Amongst the art creations, made in common, are the revolutionary overall, universal dress, and the stage sets for AIDA, by Giuseppe Verdi, of 1924.
